Spring in Cornwall

Pretty blues, and misty beaches. Cornwall was all I imagined it would be and more. The children played in the sand and we huddled under blankets to watch the tide go in. Fish and Chips, Cream Teas, Cornish pasties left our bellies feeling full and achey. Childhood memories stored. ‘If only we could live here’ they said. ‘If only’ I thought. The pictures are now framed in our bathroom. So we don’t forget that salty air too quickly. That childhood holiday feeling. The buckets and spades. The too many sweets and the flashing arcades. Till we meet again Cornwall, you are framed in our bathroom. DSC_5713_1 DSC_5712DSC_5714
